James A. Rich was a son of William Joseph Marion Rich and Kezia Hampton. William was a brother of Harvey Doke Rich.
Son James lived in Ada, Oklahoma. "I well remembers visiting him at the white house in the picture. He was crippled for
some reason; as you can see the crutches in the picture."
