Know all men by these presents that we Charles Price and Margaret S. Goforth and Z. Goforth of the county of Rains, in the state aforesaid, for in consideration of the sum of fifty dollars to us in hand paid, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged have this day sold and do by
these presents grant bargain, sell and convey unto A. J. Price of the county of Kaufman and State of Texas, all that certain track or parcel of land described as follows : Situated in the county of Kaufman, State of Texas on the waters of Cedar Creek being a part of the survey originally granted to Samuel McAnier and described as follows toward (?).: Situated in the aforesaid three hundred and ninety four acres which was
formerly owned by William Price and deeded by him to A. J. Price and James H. Price to which deeds reference is made and the said Chas Price being an heir of James H. Price dec’d. and Mrs. Margaret S. Goforth being his widow and interested in said land by inheritance and was joined by her husband Z. Goforth in this conveyance our interest being undivided, we hereby convey all our
rights which we have acquired by purchase or inheritance, for a more perfect description reference is made to a deed from William Price to J. H. Price and A. J. Price recorded in Kaufman book J. page 314 containing our entire interest in said land together with all and singular the rights members hereditaments and appurtenances to the same belonging or in anywise incident or appertaining to have and to hold all and singular
the premises above mentioned unto the said A. J. Price heirs and assigns forever; and we the said Chas Price, M. S. and Z. Goforth do hereby find ourselves heirs executors and administrators to warrant and forever defend all and singular the said premises unto the said A. J. Price heirs and assignees against every person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof witness our hands this
30th day of November as 1878.

Before me Thos. M. Allred county clerk for said count personally came Z. Goforth and M. S. Goforth to me well known, and acknowledged they signed and delivered the foregoing deed for the consideration and purposes therein stated and the said M. S. Goforth wife of the said Z.
Goforth being by me examined privily and apart from her said husband, and having the contents of said deed fully explained she the said M. S. Goforth, declared she had signed and delivered the same of her own free will and accord and wished not to retract her said act. Given under my hand and official seal on the 30th day of Nov. 1887, at Emory Rains Co. Texas.
