1. LAVINIA ANN ELIZABETH² PRICE (WILLIAM¹) was born May 16, 1837 in Indiana, and died July 28, 1871 in Between Hamilton and Comanche, Texas. She married THOMAS D. NEEL March 10, 1859 in Smith county, Texas. He was born 1834 in Tennessee, and died in Comanche county, Texas.

Lavinia and Thomas are buried at Toliver Cemetery, Comanche County, Texas
Location: From Lamkin, take county road NE about 0.75 mile, veer right at fork, then continue about 1.1 mile east to end of road; go NE about .15 mile.

Historical Marker: Burial place of pioneers, including James H. Neel (east center plot), one of first seven men to bring families here (1852), four years before county was organized. His home was a quarter-mile east. He was postmaster, Resley's Creek Village, Sept. 17, 1858 to Nov. 5, 1866. (1967
