 After Bill left the Navy, he went to work for the government. He retired after thirty years working as a Computer Programmer. During the Gulf War he received a medal for his contribution of Logistics for the Desert Storm campaign.

Bill loved to go fishing. He coached Basketball many years for the Sterling Heights, Michigan Youth Program. He was a member of The Y- Indian Guides and was known as 'Big Tomahawk'. Bill liked to get in the kitchen and cook and he sang while he prepared meals.

 WILLIAM ALLEN4 KOHL (JAMES WILBUR3, CHARLES2, ADAM1) was born April 25, 1938 in Coshocton, Ohio, and died January 3, 1998 in Sterling Heights, Michigan. He married NORMA JEANNE WISEHART  in Coshocton, Ohio, daughter of WILBUR WISEHART and NOLO FRENCH. She was born in Maywood, California. They met in California while Bill was in the Navy.

Children of WILLIAM KOHL and NORMA WISEHART are:

i. CAREY ALLEN5 KOHL, b. in  Newark, Ohio; m. RUBY LOUISE JOHNSON  b. in  Spokane, Washington.

ii. DOUGLAS WAYNE KOHL, b. in  Newark, Ohio.

iii. RICHARD JASON KOHL, b. in Mount Clemens, Michigan; m.  DAYLE ANDREA ERDELI,  b. in Dearborn, Michigan.

iv. STACY MARIE KOHL, b. in  Mount Clemens, Michigan.


William was the Last Born Son of James Wilbur Kohl

Notes for WILLIAM ALLEN KOHL:
Bill liked to get in the kitchen and cook and sing while he prepared meals. He served his country in the United States Navy, after which he continued to work for the government. He retired after thirty years working for the Government as a Computer Programmer during which time he received a medal during the Gulf War for his contribution of Logistics during the Desert Storm campaign.

Bill wanted to be cremated when he died. He chose to be a part of all of of the life he loved and was placed partly by his families graves in Coshocton, Ohio and part in the Pacific Ocean at San Diego, CA, where he was stationed at the time and where he met his wife Norma.
