The funeral will be held at the Salem M.E. Church, west of Arcadia, at 1:30 o'clock, Thursday afternoon and burial will be in East Union Cemetery, west of Atlanta, beside his wife and mother. Mr. Fulton had been ill since Saturday with pneumonia but his condition was not thought to be serious until a few hours before his death. His wife died nine years ago and since then the aged man has been making his home with his son, Glen. The diseased was born and reared in the vicinity of New Castle, but came to this part of the state when a young man and for many years lived in the East Union neighborhood until he moved to the present home. Two brothers, Pery Fulton, of Clarksville, and Perry Fulton of Clarksville, and a sister, Mrs. Charles Templeton of Summittville; twenty-three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren also survive.

Sarah Naoma Morris [Parents] was born on 20/21 Jun 1850 in Newcastle, Henry Co, In. She died on 9 Jun 1923 in Cicero, Hamilton Co, In and was buried in East Union, North County Rd, west of Atlanta, IN. Sarah Naoma Morris married William C. Fulton on 5 Apr 1870.

Bright's Disease

Noblesville Daily Ledger, Monday, June 11, 1923 Death Comes To Mrs. William Fulton Funeral Tuesday Morning At East Union - Five Children Mrs. Sarah Fulton, wife of William Fulton, died at the family home, four miles west of Cicero, Saturday evening, following a long illness from Bright's Disease. She had been in a failing condition since last October. The funeral services will occur at the house at 10:30 Tuesday Morning, with burial at East Union on the north county line. Mrs. Fulton was a member of the Christian church at East Union, was widely known and highly esteemed by all who knew her. Mrs. Fulton would have been 73 years of age on the 20th of this month. Her maiden name was Morris and she was reared in Henry County. Besides her husband, she leaves three daughters and two sons, Mrs. John Hall, Mrs. Edward Orr, and Mrs. Roy Fouch, the two latter of Tipton, Virgil and Glen Fulton. William Fulton is a brother of the late Frank Fulton, of Clarksville, and of Perry Fulton, southeast of Noblesville, and he and his family will have sympathy of a large circle of relatives and friends at the loss of the beloved wife and mother.

Noblesville Daily Ledger, Monday, June 23, 1923 p.2 Sarah Naoma Fulton, was born June 21, 1850 near Newcastle, Ind., and closed this life June 9, 1923, age 72 years, eleven months and 18 days. She was the daughter of Rev. Robert and Harriet Morris. Her father was a minister of the New Light Church of which she became a member at the age of fifteen. She later moved her membership to the East Union Church, near Atlanta, Ind. where she remained a member until her death. She was married to William C. Fulton, April 5, 1870. Their home was blessed by eight children, two of which died in infancy and Eslie Jane Rushton, the eldest daughter, died Nov. 19, 1922. She is survived by the husband and the following children: Mrs. John Hall, of near Arcadia, Mrs. Elwood Orr and Mrs. Roy Fouch of Tipton, Virgil Fulton near Baker's corner and Glenn at home, also twenty grandchildren and a host of friends. During the many weeks of her illness when death was mentioned she always said without hesitation that she was ready. This leaves the family without a doubt of her rejoicing in the presence of her Savior. All human power was done to prolong her life, but the Master called and she must go. A precious one from us is gone, A voice we loved is stilled, A place is vacant in our home, Which never can be filled. God in his wisdom has recalled The soul he once had given And as the body lingers here The soul is safe in heaven. CARDS OF THANKS We wish to thank our neighbors and friends for their many acts of kindness, and every one who helped in our deep sorrow. W.C. Fulton and Children
