Kohl, AlexanderWilliam (b. --Not Shown--)
Note: Age 6 years. A conversation with grandmother Norma Wisehart Kohl:
November 02, 2004

Alex and I had a big discussion yesterday on the way to his soccer banquet. He has no school today because of the election and he was asking if he could spend the night with me last night.

I explained to Alex that I still had to work today. He got the day off because strangers would be going to the various schools to vote and it wasn't a good idea for the students to attend classes with all the strangers going to their school.

Alex asked about what we would be voting on. I explained that George W. Bush and John Kerry were both trying to become the new President. Alex asked if it was Uncle Carey. I told him no it wasn't. He said to bad, because if it was Uncle Carey, I (meaning me Grandma) would vote for him wouldn't I. I assured him that if his Uncle Carey was running for President, I would vote for him. His response was, yeah to bad it's not Uncle Carey.
