Huffman, Victor Richard (b. 8 FEB 1930, d. 17 DEC 2003)

Note: COSHOCTON -- Victor R. Huffman, 73, of 1527 Orange St., died at 6:10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2003 at his residence.

He was born Feb. 8, 1930, in Fresno, to the late Victor R. and Florence (Johnson) Hoffman.

He was a factory worker at Clow Water Systems for 23 years, served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the VFW 2040, Coshocton Moose 935, and Coshocton Eagles 761.

On April 21, 1961, he married Virginia Kohl, why preceded him in death Jan. 18, 2002.

He is survived by son, Terry (Aimee) Huffman of Coshocton; daughter, Teresa Huffman of Coshocton; one grandchild, Samantha Huffman; and sister, Evelyn (James) Tubbs of Coshocton.

He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19, 2003, at Given-Dawson Coshocton Funeral Home, with Pastor Wayne Harmon officiating. Burial will be in South Lawn Cemetery, Coshocton.

Note: John Roof adopted Cindy and her name was changed to Roof. John was a bread truck driver. In an accident where his truck was hit by a car, John, was thrown out of the truck and landed on his head. He died of a skull fracture.
